About me
I was born and raised in Central Texas, and over the past 30 years I’ve seen firsthand how much this area has changed. I grew up in Round Rock and graduated from Stony Point High School. After high school, I went straight to work, and along the way I met my wife, Rae. We were married in August of 2015.
For several years we moved between Pflugerville and Round Rock before ultimately choosing Hutto as our home. We were drawn to Hutto because of its affordability, lower taxes, and the promise of new businesses coming into the area. We were especially excited about the build-out of The Co-Op and what it could mean for the community.
Rae and I moved to Hutto in February 2020, and we immediately fell in love with the city. We attend Hutto Bible Church, where I serve in our student ministry. I currently serve on Planning and zoning to facilitate the planning for the City of Hutto.
I became involved in Hutto city government because I was frustrated by how often residents felt unheard (especially during conversations about taxes in 2022). Too often, it felt like the choice was between candidates who didn’t truly represent the concerns of everyday residents.
Do I think I’m the best candidate for Place 4? Yes. I work tirelessly to serve the people of Hutto with honesty, transparency, and respect.
I’m always willing to sit down with anyone and talk, whether you agree with me or not. I want to be someone who listens, who stays accessible, and who makes sure residents know they’re being heard.
Vote Brandon DeLeon for Hutto City Council Place 4.
